Victory!

THANK YOU!

Thanks to all those who attended, assisted, and coordinated the 2014 Brawl of America.  Our inaugural endeavor was a tremendous success.

We had an incredible faculty, with 2 Fight Masters, 1 Fight Director, 2 Certified Teachers and 6 Advanced Actor/Combatants, and a fantastic turn-out with 34 registered students.

We look forward to crossing blades with you all next year.  Until then, check out the website of our older sibling workshop: Carnage in the Corn in Des Moines, IA this November!  www.carnageinthecorn.weebly.com

Special Announcement

Jenna Papke

Jenna Papke

Six Elements Theatre regrets to announce that Jenna Papke has resigned from her position as Artistic Director. Jenna was a co-founder of the company and was a strong voice guiding our mission while directing our first 4 seasons, but has decided to pursue other artistic endeavors, and all of us here wish her well. While she is no longer a member of our company she remains a personal and professional friend, who we hope to work with again.

As we plan our 2015 season, Six Elements remains committed to producing excellent active theatre that explores the power of language, gossip, and myth to influence human thought, action, and reality, We look forward to the opportunity to work with new talented directors, and to move the company in exciting new ways.

Human Combat Chess 2014 is going full steam ahead with a new venue and loads of talented new fighters and choreographers, and our adaptation of the Newbury Honor winning novel "The Thief" promises to bring a fascinating tale of gods, men, creation, and betrayal to the Twin Cities for a world premiere.

Stay tuned for our 2015 season announcement, root for your favorite team in the HCC, steal a gift from the gods, and continue to Brave the Elements!

Our best,
