Want to be a producer? Join Six Elements

Six Elements is looking for new Company Members! These are the people who plan the season, find spaces, market the shows, find our artists, write grants, answer emails, and make sure the operation of the theater runs smoothly.

Take a look at the Company Member Rights and Responsibilities and our What We Do page to see if you’d like to be a part of creating the work we do from the ground up.

If Six Elements sounds like the type of organization you want to help grow and thrive by joining as a company member, please answer the below questions and send them along with your theatrical resume to SixElementsTheatre@gmail.com.

What work have you done in theater or in the creation of collaborative art? With whom have you worked? How have things gone well? What hurdles have you encountered? What is your ideal process like?

We produce a range of material, from classical stories to new plays and collaboratively devised works. What kind of theater are you interested in producing? Are there any specific shows, projects, or themes you’d like to explore?

Company Members are responsible for a variety of tasks necessary to the production of a season, including production management, accounting, marketing, and fundraising, in addition to filling various roles within individual shows. What tasks are you interested in?

Why do you want to work with Six Elements Theatre?

Volunteers

It takes a lot of work to produce a show, and Six Elements is always happy to accept a crew of eager volunteers to help us put on a great show.

If you are not part of the production team or cast, and want to be an essential part of the show, email us at sixelementstheatre@gmail.com or join our mailing list to find out about volunteer opportunities!

Box Office/Concessions volunteers:

For most performances, we will need two volunteers per performance to help with ticket sales and concessions. These volunteers can see that performance free of charge.

Strike/Load-in/Constructions Volunteers:

Each production requires a lot of work building the set, loading it into the space, and taking it down after the last performance. These volunteers can sign up to help on these days through the volunteer coordinator, who will determine how many people are needed. The volunteer coordinator will log names and how many hours worked. Volunteers will receive one free ticket (to the production they work on) for 4 hours of work, two tickets for 8 or more hours of work.

**volunteers who help with Strike will receive tickets to the following production.

Show-by-show Artists

Production roles

If you would like to be considered as a Designer, Director, or Stage Manager for future shows, we would love to hear from you! Please send your resume to sixelementstheatre@gmail.com and we will respond to you shortly thereafter.

If you have a script or an idea for collaboration, please let us know!
